Nyoka is a Licensed Mental Health Clinician with a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology. She has served in the past as a Family Court Mediator and has assisted families going through divorce, with mediation services.

Nyoka is trained and experienced in providing therapy for children diagnosed with Reactive Attachment Disorder and has worked successfully with children in foster care, helping them learn how to trust and form bonds with the adult caregivers in their lives. She is also a Certified Hypnotherapist.
